Terms of Service — Art Era LLC
Effective Date: June 4, 2026
1. About Art Era
Art Era LLC (“Art Era,” “we,” “us”) operates the Art Era platform at artworldera.app. Art Era is a social platform connecting artists, art groups, and collectors. By creating an account you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Art Era. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18. If we discover an account belongs to someone under 18 we will terminate it. Submitting a false report about another user’s age may result in suspension of your own account.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for all activity on your account. You agree to provide accurate information during signup. Art Era reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or misrepresents identity or artwork.
4. The Auction Model
Art Era operates a public mock bid auction system. This is the entire auction model on the platform. No money changes hands at the close of any auction. Art Era does not facilitate, process, or take any commission on sales between artists and collectors. When an auction ends, Art Era opens the direct message channel between the artist and their bidders. Any sale that occurs happens privately and directly between the artist and collector. Art Era is not a party to that transaction, is not an auction house, and charges zero commission on any private sale ever.
5. Tokens
Tokens are a digital in-platform currency used to place bids on auction posts. All token purchases are final and non-refundable. Tokens have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred, or redeemed for money under any circumstances. Unused tokens are forfeited upon account termination with no refund. Art Era reserves the right to modify token pricing at any time with notice posted on the platform.
6. Subscriptions
Artists and art groups pay a monthly subscription fee to access the platform. Subscriptions are billed monthly. Art Era reserves the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue subscription pricing for any profile type at any time with 30 days notice. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund of the current billing period.
7. Print Sales
When the Art Era shop is active, collectors may purchase artist-designed t-shirts through the platform. All print sales are final. Art Era does not issue refunds on print orders under any circumstances except as described below. Printed colors and details may vary slightly from the original artwork due to the nature of the printing process and screen color differences. This is not considered a defect. Print order issues involving defective, damaged, or lost items must be reported to support@artworldera.app within 30 days of the delivery date confirmed by the shipping carrier, with photos and order details. Art Era will coordinate with Printful to resolve the issue at no cost to you. Artist revenue from print sales is distributed via Stripe at a 70% artist / 30% Art Era split after fulfillment costs. Artist payouts are processed only after successful order fulfillment. Art Era uses Printful to produce and ship all print orders. Printful reserves the right to refuse, hold, or cancel any order at their sole discretion including for content review reasons. In the event an order is refused or cancelled by Printful prior to or during production, Art Era will issue a full refund to the buyer. Art Era is not liable for fulfillment partner decisions regarding content approval or order cancellation. Art Era makes reasonable efforts to resolve fulfillment issues but cannot guarantee fulfillment of any print order as production is controlled by a third party. Print listings are automatically synced to Printful when published. Sync typically completes within 2-5 seconds. Art Era is not responsible for delays in sync caused by Printful API availability.
8. Intellectual Property
Artists and art groups retain full ownership of all content they post on Art Era. By posting content you grant Art Era a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service. Art Era does not claim ownership of any artwork, media, or content posted by users. You may not post content that infringes on the intellectual property of others. Art Era reserves the right to remove infringing content without notice.
9. Content Rules
You agree to post only original content that you own or have rights to. You may not post counterfeit artwork, fraudulent listings, hateful content, illegal content, or content that misrepresents your identity or the identity of your work. Art Era reserves the right to remove any content and suspend any account that violates these rules without prior notice and without refund of any subscription fees or token balances.
10. DMCA and Copyright
Art Era respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe content on Art Era infringes your copyright, send a written notice to support@artworldera.app including your contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing content and its location on the platform, a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf. Art Era will respond expeditiously to valid notices. Users who repeatedly infringe copyright will have their accounts terminated. Art Era is not liable for copyright infringement by users where Art Era has no actual knowledge of infringement and acts expeditiously upon receiving valid notice.
11. Print File Warranty and Restrictions
By uploading a print file to Art Era, you warrant that you are the sole creator and owner of all rights to that artwork, that the artwork has never been sold or licensed to any other party for print production, and that the artwork does not incorporate any third-party intellectual property including but not limited to trademarked logos, brand names, recognizable characters, or copyrighted works owned by others. You may not print artwork that incorporates the intellectual property of any third party without their express written permission. Art Era reserves the right to remove any print listing that violates these requirements without notice and without refund of any fees. By uploading a print file you grant Art Era a limited non-exclusive license to transmit that file to our fulfillment partner solely for the purpose of fulfilling collector orders. This license is revoked when you disable print sales or delete your account. Print files are removed from active fulfillment systems within 30 days of account deletion or print sales being disabled.
12. Print Edition and Quality
Artists who enable print sales are solely responsible for verifying print quality by ordering a sample before their first collector order ships. The Sample Ordered badge is a voluntary artist disclosure and does not constitute a quality guarantee by Art Era. The display image shown on a post and the print file uploaded for fulfillment are separate files and may differ. The printed shirt reflects the print file only. Printed colors and details may vary from the original artwork due to the nature of the printing process and screen color differences. This is not considered a defect. Edition size is set at the time of listing. Artists may increase edition size only after the original edition has sold out entirely. Art Era enforces edition limits through automated systems. In the event of a technical error resulting in orders exceeding the stated edition size Art Era will refund excess orders but is not liable for damages arising from such errors.
13. Product Liability
Art Era sells physical goods produced by a third-party fulfillment partner. Art Era disclaims all product liability to the maximum extent permitted by law. If you experience any injury, allergic reaction, or harm related to a physical product purchased through Art Era, contact support@artworldera.app. Art Era is not the manufacturer of any physical goods sold through the platform. All physical goods are produced by our fulfillment partner in accordance with their manufacturing standards. By completing a purchase of any physical good you confirm you are at least 18 years old.
14. Sales Tax
Art Era may collect and remit applicable sales tax on print orders as required by law. Prices displayed on the platform may not include applicable state and local taxes. Any applicable taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout prior to completing a purchase.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Art Era LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses including reasonable legal fees arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any rights of another user, or any content you post or upload to the platform including print files.
16. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Art Era is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain credential security. You agree to notify Art Era immediately at support@artworldera.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
17. Platform Availability
Art Era makes no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service. The platform may experience downtime due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Art Era is not liable for any loss resulting from platform unavailability.
18. Force Majeure
Art Era is not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, government actions, internet outages, third-party service provider failures, or any other event outside Art Era’s reasonable control.
19. Third Party Services
Art Era integrates with third-party services including Stripe, Supabase, Twilio, and Printful. Art Era is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service. Printful's privacy policy is available at printful.com/policies/privacy.
20. International Users
Art Era is based in Pennsylvania, United States. Users outside the United States access the platform at their own risk with respect to their local laws. Art Era makes no representation that the platform complies with the laws of any jurisdiction other than Pennsylvania. If you are located in the European Union your data rights are addressed in our Privacy Policy.
21. Buyer Fraud
Any attempt to fraudulently claim non-delivery of an item that was delivered, initiate false chargebacks, abuse the refund process, or exploit the platform in bad faith will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities. Art Era reserves the right to pursue legal remedies against users who engage in fraudulent activity.
22. Public Content Visibility
By posting content publicly on Art Era you consent to your content being visible to all platform users including artists, collectors, and art groups. Art Era is not responsible for how other users interact with or respond to your publicly posted content.
23. SMS Communications Consent
By providing a phone number during signup you consent to receiving SMS messages from Art Era including verification codes and platform notifications. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of non-essential SMS communications at any time by contacting support@artworldera.app. Opting out of verification SMS may limit your access to platform features.
24. Feedback and Suggestions
Any feedback, ideas, suggestions, or feature requests you submit to Art Era may be used by Art Era without compensation, attribution, or restriction. By submitting feedback you assign all rights in that feedback to Art Era LLC.
25. Informational Purposes Only
All data, pricing information, market intelligence, analytics, and auction results displayed on the platform are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, investment, or professional advice. Art Era makes no representation that any data on the platform is accurate, complete, or current. Users rely on platform data at their own risk.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Art Era makes no guarantee that artwork listed on the platform is authentic, accurately described, or will result in a successful sale. All transactions between artists and collectors are private and independent of Art Era. Art Era is not responsible for disputes arising from private sales. Users engage with the platform and with each other at their own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Art Era LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, failed transactions, or disputes between users. Art Era’s total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by that user to Art Era in the 90 days preceding the claim. Art Era is not liable for any unauthorized access to user data resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control including third party service provider breaches.
12. Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with Art Era, contact us first at support@artworldera.app. If the dispute cannot be resolved by email, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Pennsylvania under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to a jury trial or class action lawsuit against Art Era.
13. Support and Payment Disputes
For questions or concerns contact us at support@artworldera.app. Include your username, a description of the issue, and photos or screenshots where applicable. Art Era will make reasonable efforts to respond in a timely manner. Payment disputes are handled directly through Stripe. Print order issues involving defective, damaged, or lost items must be reported within 30 days of the delivery date confirmed by the shipping carrier with photos and order details.
14. Account Termination
Art Era may terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your content is removed, your token balance is forfeited with no refund, your subscription is cancelled effective at the end of the current billing period, and your Founding Member status is permanently retired and cannot be reclaimed.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any legal action must be brought in Pennsylvania.
16. Changes to These Terms
Art Era reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted at artworldera.app/terms with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
